Phil Neville.....

Unfortunately he has gone. He might be a good organiser on the pitch (although he almost cost us completely with his dreadful positioning AGAIN especially in the 83rd minute when Howard saved well) but he is finished. the worry is he is still getting games. When Unsworth first came in he was raw but within 12 months he was a collossus at wembley. Why not give Stones a go. He might freeze but then again he might be superb. Surely he cannot be any worse than Phil at the moment?

I love the guy, he's been a good captain for us but he's finished. He looked out of his league against Oldham.

Similar to Cahill. Has served us well over the years but when your time is up, your time is up. We should thank them, remember them and let them go.

so what exactly is wrong with Seamus Coleman and tony hibbert. I mean I get lightheaded watching Neville play at any capacity for us(mid or RB). Is Shane Duffy so bad that he doesnt deserve a shot, with him and Distin starting at CB and Jags at RB? To tell you the truth don't remember him when he started for us, how was he? Maybe thats a good thing.

look, we had no one available tonight, hibbo in the stand(legend), sheamie injured, stonesinhio cup tied , and johnny having a mid life s**t attack, or whatever is goin on with him, so phil had to play, lay off him, he knows he's finished, moyes knows he's finished ,I know he's finished, u know he's finished , the dogs in the street know he's finished, . i'm not into goin to town on loyal servants like phil, give the man a break., dissapointing tonight , ruined my fkn wknd again, but c'mon head up and lets bum these barstewards 5 nil at goodison. ps what was up with duffy brought on to see out the game and mark the only threat they had, and he made a balls of it, anyway i'm off to cry myself to sleep.. ah well at least we're still in the hat sob sob!! god is great, pienaar and osman are shiiitee the last 6 weeks..... god bless us but i'm fair salty joe

Neville has been a good servant for us and I want him as a coach for us. But he is just not up for it any more as a player, its time to put your boots on the shelf.

Ovedio.

Phil must take off his boots and go home - the old age home -
even there i think his nerves and his slow decisionmaking will make playing bingo a challenge -

If Heitinga wasn't such a bell, he should be playing at right back. I don't think he'd be as liable to mistakes there and as others have said he's far better than Nev.

You have to be joking about JH he has lost 4 yards of pace, he is slower than PN - JH is an abosolute shi*ehawk of a so called player cost us in the last three games he has played!
