Have to say i've always kind of defended Neville but i really am sick of his hopeless lofted passes and his dreadful first touch. Hopefully Coleman will be back soon, seeing as there is no sign of Hibbert coming back. I think we will see Stones before the end of the season.

I've always defended Neville and think he gets way too much of a hard time on here but the Oldham performance was really bad. Iv always hated having him at CM but at RB, although nothing flashy I felt could be relied on to come in and do a solid job.

Well no more. If G.Nev had that moment in his career when he realised it was over, this should be phill's moment to realise this season should be his last. Our small squad still needs him the rest of this season and that's not testimony to his ability, more our lack of a squad but this really should be his finale!

He has always had way too much stick on here, particularly when playing CM. Only 12 months ago he completely marked Bale out of the game and was trending worldwide on twitter, now it looks like he couldn't mark a bail of hay.

But the legs have gone, he has been badly exposed in the last two games. he is making Hibbo look world class at the moment

The way he came into this club and swaggered about CM spraying balls like Beckham... pity they almost always ended up in the stands or to no1 in particular.... Neville's ONLY ability is to use his awareness on how to position himself to avoid having to tackle or to receive a pass! He is the worst captain in the history of our club... every media "performance" has been truly shameful and embarrassing and he always talks about Man Utd!
He would be totally demotivating in the changing room - how can a player who has been a liability and is barely League 2 standard speak to people like Fellaini and Baines and tell them a performance is needed or they aren't playing well? "No Phil, you need to not f*k up again today"
