If we bring in Mina and Zouma he’ll be 5th choice behind Keane and Holgate as well. He’s 36 for gods sake so he doesn’t deserve the abuse he gets. Very very good player for us over the years between 07-14 he was an absolutely top draw centreback. But she has slowed him down, no shame in that.

Well said mate, he has been a fantastic servant to the club over the years, has held the defense together. In desperate times where we have had quite a few.
Doesn’t deserve the stick he gets.
He knows he is not the player he used to be and he doesn’t choose the captaincy, the manager does.
It will be interesting to see who gets it this season

I don't hate Jags as an Evertonian. He was a good player in his prime and also a good lad. He is starting to reach Gareth Barry territory for me though. He has overstayed his welcome in the lineup and I am seriously starting to loathe him as a part of the 1st team. Please remove him soon Everton. God bless you Jags.
