Whilst I totally understand people's haste to move Jags on, it grates me that so called fans of our club are so quick to disrespect a player that has been truly immense for many previous years. Theres a way of doing things and saying things, yet so many in here want to slate players like Jags and Baines now they no longer want then. In my view we have been truly privileged to have them over the past several years and, whilst I agree neither can be a regular starter going forward, they deserve respect. Forever COYB, but show some decency when talking about loyal players of our beloved club people!!!!

“Truly immense”.
No words.

Lets be honest the only 2 people to blame for the bloke still being here are Silva and Brands.

Anyone with any sense could see this bloke needed peddling and stripping of the armband.

Add in the poisonous Clique of Mirallas, Williams, Schnerderlin and Niasse all stinking the gaff out is there any wonder why the dressing room is so fractured.

Not an ounce of ambition or pride between them.

We need the lot purged before they corrupt the new lads.

The Prince?
In the same sentence as Mirallas.
Behave.

He cannot do a full season no way, he should be back up. But it looks like Keane and Jags for Wolves very worrying they will hammer us.

After watching the Rennes defensive debacle, I would be very surprised if Marco paired those two. I actually consider Snail Keane to be the worst of the the 'terrible trio' (Capt, Tubby and Snail). Burnley rinsed us there...cheers Fatty and Gormless.

I get that he isn't good anymore but it really isn't his fault the club couldn't recognize that at 35 he might not be as good as he once was. He's done well for us regardless of if people think he's a good captain or not

His comments over Pickford perfectly exemplify why we as a club have repeatedly failed for so long and achieved nothing during this time. His losers mentality and meek acceptance of mediocrity would sickening if it wasn't so typical of the club as a whole.

This is why I'm fed up with putting all the blame for our struggles completely on our managers, we can keep blaming them all individually (And I'm sure most will) but the problem goes far deeper then that. There's a culture of cowardice and lack of ambition that runs to the very hart of the club and infects everyone from boardroom to box office and everywhere inbetween. Jagielka embodies that cowardice and lack of ambition perfectly.

I honestly don't know why I'm shocked that the club would have our captain basically prepare us for the possibility of the sale of our prize asset when said asset is only one year in to a five year contract FFS! Why should he not eh? When the club still has this fool as our captain and (more then likely) first team regular in 2018 it shows the true level of our clubs ambition..........:(
