Anybody who says the prospect of Hibbert and Osman on the right side for another season is good, needs to give their head a shake. Hopefully by some electric cabling.

I'm frustrated as you would have thought we would have learned from last year to identify our targets, like sorting out the right hand side, and done our business early, had them in for training and be rip roaring ready to go in two weeks. What is anyone saying? We won't know anything for a fact until the season starts. All we have to go on is the past. Some will look at the past and have faith in Moyes to deliver a decent season, others won't.

It's sadly not uncommon. All it takes is a defeat and suddenly we're rubbish again. Likewise in the summer unless we're signing every Tom, Dick and Harry we're rubbish and BK is a tightarse. Nothing if not predictable.

This is it though, no doubt Moyes and every other manager in the league will have had similar aspirations. As Danny's initial post showed though, very few of our competitors have signed anyone either. With the exception of Real Madrid and Man City, few clubs have splashed any cash this summer.
