Of course mate things can always change and the who market is riddled with people whether players , agents, managers , executives or journos who all lie and that's why unless you know someone in the room it's hard to be certain however on this The lad I know seems fairly confident. I would suspect if anything any money we have from Rodwell means we may look at someone (whether age , fitness , value or whatever) a little 'better' the Owen . If I get anything on targets I might be able to post in the next few days I will do. I have checked this again this morning and he still seems pretty sure, like I say it's not definitive but he seems confident on what he's saying

agreed, we are not a crappy team like stoke, we should be looking to realistically challenge for europe with the team we have assembled atm. another 3 good players would make a world of difference. seems we are definately in for a striker which is positive news, but as a welsh evertonian, i don't want this little judas snide near our team, offering him a way out of a hole.

i'm not either mate, I just don't see the point beyond the odd league cup appearance, if he does sign I hope we all see the point eventually and that i'm wrong in my opinion that it would be a waste of our wage.
