Haven't read all the posts and I stand by to be shot down but I've said it before a few times , I'm told there is nothing in our alleged interest in Owen . As I've said before my source isn't inside everton so it's not definitive but other clubs after Owen do not believe we are a rival or have any interest in signing him . would be really disappointed if this is true. Rumours are that he couldn't agree a deal with Stoke as his wage requests were too high - can't see him accepting much less to come here. good finisher maybe but he hasn't got any pace anymore and his touch is awful

hope you right, if he cost next to nothing it would be ok, but i think he will want a few bob and id sooner gamble on someone younger.
