If we could get him fit he'd be fantastic but the odds of that happening have to be very slim unfortunately. Whether it's with us or anyone else however I'd love to see him back playing anywhere near his best, as he was a fine player.

Everyone was saying that Saha was a risk, a crazy signing when we took him on a 'pay-as-you-play' deal.
Hargreaves has been quality, but sadly blighted by injury. Had he stayed fit he would be the missing piece in United's jigsaw; the holding midfielder they lack against the real quality sides (see Saturday night).
If he's available and not holding out for ludicrous wages, then it's a no-brainer for me. Get him on the books, try and get him fit. He'll be a massive asset to someone if he overcomes his woes.
Also, Pay as you play deals are BANNED by the FA. I'm unsure as to why so many people are quoting them as an option.....Saha was never offered a PAYP deal.....nor would he have been allowed to sign one.
