With the exception of the final, Hibbert was tremendous last season on his return.
Small memories me thinks.

Honestly do you watch the same game? He had a few very good games last season, but in the main, he was awful. Do you think his legion of haters make it up? The lad is awful. In the modern game a RB must be able to attack as well as defend and he is found wanting every single time he passes the halfway line.

In the 60s he would have been regarded a World Class Right Back. But that was then, this is now.

Yobo - he was the one consistent that Everton thought they could rely on in central defense with Jags hurting and Lescott on the way out and he hasn't been an anchor back there one bit. Even Yobo would have to admit he's severely underperformed.

Cahill - he may not be scoring goals but his workrate, effort and character are unchanged. Find someone else to lash out on, lids.

Gosling - a bit harsh. Gosling is the least of Everton's troubles.

What did you really expect out of Gosling? He's definitely got potential but he's lost in the side - when he does play, it's usually at varying positions and be honest, Gosling could be a solid player but he's a squad player until he gets truly settled.

Cahill, Baines, Yobo, and Jo have all under performed this term for me. Distin and Hibbert have also been not too great but have had at least a couple of positive performances. Giving Dan Gosling the benefit of the doubt due to his relative inexperience at this level still.

Rodwell had a very promising start to the season and shouldn't be on anyone's list in all honesty.

Hibbert has to be up there, but often throws in the odd crunching tackle which makes you love him, but in the main he's very [Poor language removed]. If we had conceded from that penalty he would have 100% of the vote, awful attempt to win the ball, his distribution continues to be gash. He is a backwards and sidewards man which is not good enough for a right back in my opinion and continues also to hoof aimlessley.

Jo has been much improved with his work ethic and hold up play in recent weeks, we've been needing him as a goalscorer which is a reason I'd put him up there, but his general play has come on a bit and for the smallest of margins would have scored a cracker vs the [Poor language removed] last week.

Arteta, has made absolutely no impact at all :P

Cahill maybe coming around after yesterday. But our talisman has been sadly lacking for us this year but in imho he isn't the worst. Unfortunately, Yobo has utterly fell asleep at the wheel with Jags missing. I know the injury situation has not helped but he should be marshalling the defense and he has been doing anything but. Speed can get you out of trouble sometimes but you need your noggin in the game as well. So bad marks for Joey from me.:(

All true but he was in the right spot when Everton needed him Sunday(y)

Gosling for me. Had high hopes for him, but start doubting he'll ever be more than a bench player for Everton.

Also Yobo hasn't been playing to his best this season, just like Distin an maybe even Cahill, although he still works his socks off and has been playing out of position for most games. He'll be back to his talismatic best soon enough. Think Lucas Neill has been downright dissapointing, expected a lot more from him.

One thing I don't get is the criticising of Tim Howard. Looking at a lot of other goalkeepers, I'm always glad we have someone like him in goal.
