Fast forward 6 months. Andy Carroll up front, Steve Walsh as manager and seven goal keepers on the bench. Bound to happen

Let’s just hope we get something we can all believe in because there ain’t any better feeling in the world as watching the boys in blue giving their all for the shirt and the whole of Goodison bouncing as only the wooden lady can when everyone comes together.

Doesnt matter who comes in, if we're not 12pts clear at the top by Christmas, the knives will be out...Its the Everton Way.

I just hope we get something to believe in and have the patience not to boo the team next year.
I can understand the frustration of seeing multi millionaires walking about doing not much better than a Sunday league team, but when we start to boo it will not improve them. It will drive the better players away and make us less attractive to decent replacements.

Optimism and support - the old Everton is waking up.

I'm willing to make the assumption I won't be the only one that doesn't care when it comes to this squad?

True that we don't have many 'better players' left - but we're never going to attract the best if we get a reputation for booking the little petals.
