So I'm reading my recent edition of Sports Illustrated. For those of you not in America, SI is one of the most widely read sports publications and covers most all sports on in a weekly format. It's is also well known for it's top sports photography.

At any rate, I'm reading through the April 27 issue and get to the "They Said It" piece (a weekly quote from an athlete) on page 19. Well imagine my shock when I saw the following:

Reminded me of when ESPN was doing their top ten plays of the week and Yakubu was number one for his hat trick against Brann Bergen or whoever it was last year in the UEFA Cup.

Yeah, they're having a bit of fun with him because of how he said it. We know what he meant but it came out the way it did.

I've seen some pretty good ones there before.

Nonetheless, I love seeing Everton in a major (if not THE major) sports publication in the USA.
