I have what can only be described as a ' couldn't be assed to shave for a week' fluff.
It's now a million colours, and most of them different to my hair.
Shave in the morning me thinks.

Here's how I picture MG and Chico:

Great film that.

My ex boss is convinced the lead role is based on me. The opening scene makes me howl, and the terrorist disguise.

it takes around two weeks for me to grow a beard, and i'm about 3 quarters of the way there, getting uncomfortable but there are worse pains in life.

I remember being at wembley and when Watson lifted the FA cup, someone behind said 'I'm not going to shave again until we win another trophy' or something.

I can only imagine what the poor fcuker looks like now, must be like Captain Caveman when he looks in the mirror.

Hate to say it but i feel we're missing you know who in defense (the one who left) as much as Jags...sorry but distain doesnt cut it for me (never has done tbh) and Neill is at his best a donkey who didnt have a contract at the seasons start.

Our insane policy of signing players on deadline day has caught up to us this season its that simple the new ones have no time to gell i'll say it again thats what a close season is for they shouldnt have to be doing it on the hoof.

Spurs will fade of that i'm sure but City are a different matter,i among many other said it would be this season they clicked into gear when mr moneybags took over and this is proving to be the case sadly.

We wont go down in fact i would think a top 8 finish is about where we'll be unless some serious cash is forthcoming sometime soon i think its the best we can hope for.

Hate to sound negative but after the 8th league game last season we played Bolton, Fulham, West Ham and Middleborough and took 10 points, plus we had already played The RS, Arsenal and Man Ure.

This season our next seven games games are Villa H, West Ham A, Man Ure A, Hull City A, and Liverpool H, Spuds H and Chelsea A.

I can see us winning 2 or 3 of them, so I reckon we will have 20 points after 16 games

Distin has been a quality addition, but 1 quality CB can't provide total protection when the rest of the back 4 is made up of RBs out of position, or kids, or a combination of the 2.

As for Neill, yesterday was the first day in a very long time that we've had a RB that we could trust to play the ball out of defence, and he came up with some beautiful balls, got at least 1 assist and was unlucky that a couple of others didn't quite come off. Whatever the reasons for him being out of contract (I'm guessing financial) being a 'donkey' isn't up there.

I agree with you on distin and neill they will both add quality to our squad.

oh and another thing:

Neville - Yobo - Jags - Baines

Pienaar - Osman - Arteta - Bily

Yak - Vaughn / Vic

THAT team would have pissed all over notlob yesterday, but they were all out injured, and it still took an 86th minute goal for us to lose 3-2, away.

With an entire first team out by rights we should be at the foot of the table, but (regardless of who we have and haven't played) we're mid table.

Whatever the rights and wrongs about how the guys are picking up injuries, we've now almost got a squad, that's the first time I've been able to say that for years. We're probably not going to hit top 6 this season, but top half deffo and next season should be better.

Never rated either Distin or Neill tbh but for me the biggest issue is simply the transfer policy of the club..to sign players on deadline day isnt good management by the club,at the risk of sounding like a broken record the close season is the time to bring players in and let them gel,not as we've been doing for the last few years letting them gel on the pitch in compititon football.

I agree, never a big fan of either Neil or Distin, but I really cant fault either from what ive viewed of them.

There are a number of issues affecting the Club at the moment, lack of form from some, lack of fitness from others and an overall level of numbers.

I just hope that by the time things start to click again, we arent left too far behind. We have come too far to just fade and die.
