I am far from Mr Everton you patronising little prick. But as an Evertonian for that long I have a right to an opinion.
I cant explain how are results are better all I can explain is what I seen with my own eyes. He might of missed games against top clubs I couldn't care less I am elated at this news and every blue I've spoke to is too

Ok lar!

maybe because we play against different teams !

We drew against Spurs on sunday and Neville didnt play - we beat wigan in the league and Neville did play = more points with Neville in the side than not in the side.
Maybe we would have beaten Spurs with Neville in the side, maybe we would have lost - but as no one knows then no one can possiibly say we get more points with him in the side
A complete nonsense of an argument I'm afraid

I can the stats back that up over his whole time with us.

May have evened out a bit over 8 years like.

Time flies by very quickly,it's hard to imagine that he has been at the club for eight years.
He has been a great servant to the club and a great captain. He was not the most talented of footballers but always gave 100 per cent.
He played in several positions without complaint and I think his influence at the club extended far beyond the pitch.
Somebody pointed out that he possibly should have left at the end of last season and I think that is possibly a fair comment as he has struggled a bit this season.
Nevertheless,I wish him well for the future and thank him for all that he contributed to Everton.
I think he is a man who will become a big influence on football when he moves into coaching or management.

Deffo. I think he might get another season at a promoted club but the time was right for him to go. I always imagined he'd be one of the few who go back to their hometown club and try to make a difference. I read an article about him recently and it was all about his prep and routine for training and he's as dedicated an athlete as anything you'll find at the Olympics etc.

Oh yes please. (In the unlikely event that we score another goal this season, let alone stumble into the playoffs.)
Excellent pro and an example to all aspiring footballers everywhere. Good luck Phil, please put SE25 6PU in your sat nav come July.

You can't compare it because you don't have an alternate universe where someone played instead of him.

No. But I can state with reasonable certainty that he's had a positive influence on results based on 8 seasons both with and without.

I can't compare whether Jason Lee would have outscored RVP playing in the same side as him.

Phil Neville was someone who never played with less than 100% effort and determination, and although a limited technical player his versatility has at times been important.

His and Moyes professionalism and dedication marked a sea change in Everton's professionalism, training and team spirit that was much needed after the Smith era. You hear from recently signed players that he was always taking them out or inviting them round his gaff, and a lot of his work at the club probably goes unnoticed.

absolutely correct. He was also what we needed at the time, a decent utility player and not to forget an England regular so he couldn't have been too shabby. Yes he lost it in recent seasons but credit where's it's due please.

THAT tackle on Ashley Cole will be my abiding memory of him in the royal blue.
