Are we getting Fergie?

I suppose your right, moyes might have had a word in Nevs ear to say he's off at the end of the season. though in that case I think the captain would wait it out to try & convince the new manager he was worth a new contract and another season in the prem.
i heard that moyes is off mate, germany.

Thanks Phil for your 100% commitment to Everton F.C. on and off the pitch. With clubs now knowing that your prepared to play for a lower standard club, maybe the s****e might offer you a contract !!!

Gonna miss Captain Pointy. A model pro who should retain ties with us. Imagine his influence on younger players.

Thanks for your 100% commitment to us over the years. Not a bad return for such a small fee. x

Glory be and praise the Lord.

That 'through ball' against Wigan was the last straw and even Moysey knew it.

Real shame though that he didn't get to lift that trophy for us that he craved to do. But then that brings us back to the Wigan game...

He doesn't deserve stick though considering the efforts he put in over his 8 years here. He just wasn't good enough any more. Period.

I'd agree. For someone who had such a strong loyalty to Man U he seemed to have put his lot in with us. I know he's been paid handsomely to do so but he made all the right noises (apart from his admitted 'top 10' remark). I think the last sentence of the quotes post is fair enough.

Thanks for the service Phil but it is probably best for both parties that we went our separate ways.

That goal he scored against Villa and ran almost the whole length of the pitch going nuts was always something I'll fondly remember.

Would never have signed him but have no problem admitting he has done a decent job for us overall. Shame his swan song was Wigan because he deserved better than that but will remember with great pleasure the Chelsea replay shoot out. Gutted for him not to have lifted a trophy because the Cahill arteta Neville era deserved one and I do think genuine commitment to the cause should be respected even though obviously my heros are more likely to have more skill and bring more excitement than PN. A new era is slowly underway. The king is dead, long live the king. Good luck and big round of applause from me if you come back.
