you mean like the government one to stay in,
the same people who haven't got the predictions anywhere near right for are own economic figures for years like the deficit should now be paid off by now
. but can forcast up to 2030 the affects of leaving, without knowing the deal we have to leave.?
what the state of the EU will be at that time.
The affect the inclusion of Turkey and Bosnia will have the EU.
the state of the world economy over that time span.
in short and in plain English they are taking a punt, about as trustworthy as mystic meg.
File under independent studies have shown only x amount of people will come from Poland ect to see how good they are, better going with your own instinct to stay or go.

You're a fool if you believe that, Pete. It was the neoliberal right who took advantage of 9/11, not the Left. There is no "natural course" and it is more often than not the Right who insist, for their own motives, that "something must be done."

You're right, the right wing did take advantage and screwed it up. But there still remains the issue of intervention or not. When is it in either the national interest or the interest of humanity, at what point should anyone intervene or should everyone just shrug their shoulders and let them get on with it. I thought it an absolute disgrace and a failing of the UN when the war in Rwanda was allowed to continue with the loss of millions of lives, yet the west didn't seem to give a toss........

You do yourself a disservice by trying to denigrate the poster instead of answering the argument of putting forward a view. We all have views, some right some wrong, but we should at least try to listen or hear.......
