Not A Transfer Rumour..... Wayne Rooney

I so think this is on tbh.

I think it will be a swap deal Fellaini - Rooney.

Utd are ready to move on from Rooney but at the same time they will not want him going to city, Chelsea or arsenal. Everton they would accept has its his boyhood club and not title rivals. They would save alot of face him coming here over most other places....and utd are all about the image!

A swap for fellaini also takes any public transfer fee's out of the lime light....what they had to let him go for, what they had to pay for fellaini....utd will like this! I also think utd will sign that polish fella!

An awful lot depends on what Rooney wants. Where do you go from utd?? That actually means anything?? A French title?? challanging the same PL title but with Chelsea?? Or winning your first FA cup with "your"team. There's still enough time for Rooney to come home and actually be a hero at this club.

Maybe pipe dreams, maybe Rooney has no desire to come to Everton until he's on a Zimmer frame....
Maybe Not...and he want to fufil child good dreams!!

I think theres more chance of Mickey Rooney playing for us than him. Don't think Coleen would allow him to take a massive wage cut just so he could "go the maccies on the East Lancs again". Paper talk last week was that Abramovitch wanted him when Mourinho comes back...London would be a more logical move than Europe with the new baby etc.

a lot of the anger about him going was cos it did have more to do with with what a really dodgy agent wanted than what the clubs or player wanted, and the way the media talked it up as though it had to happen. let's remember how raw and young he still was. It doesn't really justify it now by pointing to what he has won because any player would have gone to Man U and picked up some trophies. has he achieved what was expected of him as a player, I would say definitely not, nowhere near. he is in limbo now when he should be challenging the best in the world. United won't sell him to anyone challenging for the title, few teams that he would consider can afford his wages. he has gone from being the big hope of a generation and a player who loves the game to being the typical modern footballer, too rich to play.

Rooney & his management team will want the best package they can muster for his next (& last) major league pay packet.

Anyone who thinks that'll involve Everton is deluded beyond belief.

He'll chase the coin & there'll be plenty who offer him daft amounts of it.

Move on ffs.

agree that it is very unlikely to involve Everton but I don't agree that there will be people queuing up to pay him what United are, and definitely not a team where he would get what he seems to be demanding as a player. I think we are more likely to see a similar situation as the Joe Cole one at Liverpool, sent off somewhere to play that can't do Man U any harm and a big drop in wages at the end of his contract. Not much his agent can do if the right team doesn't come in, so maybe Rooney is going to set an example and tell him to [Poor language removed] off, that he is rich enough and just wants to play. Very unlikely but would be lovely to see

I recken he will get top offers from Chelsea, he would be a massive improvement over Torres

maybe but can't see Moyes risking selling him anywhere that he may come back to haunt him. He is already on a hiding to nothing with Man U fans. Obviously difficult to know what pressure can be put on a manager but would take a lot for him to go to any of the top 5 I reckon
