OK. Gave a silly free kick away when were about to get a cross in with seconds to go. Showed a decent touch.

I did see two or three pieces of good movement which was very encouraging; ghosting away from defenders into a yard of space. To caveat that though the flag had gone up for one of them so the defenders may have switched off. To further caveat that the defenders were Gary Caldwell and Emerson Boyce.

Denis looked absolutely spent after his exertions on Weds night, whilst I don't forsee them starting together as we're not geared up to play 4-4-2 - I would imagine that Jelavic will start next Saturday.

Deserves his own thread, methinks. Still looks a bit ring rusty having been injured for a while & will have to adjust to a better league but the potential is already obvious. Big lad, great touch & tidy finisher. Could be our very own Mark Viduka in his prime.
