I'll reserve judgement on what he can do down here once defences have done their homework on him, but - as he did at Rangers - he's a forward who really likes to play off the shoulder of the last line of defence and will benefit massively if we have a player who can slot him through from CM.
TBH, I thought he got a lot of help from Cahill especially first half yesterday and it's a different proposition when you're asked to go and do a lone striker role in this league...as he'll find out. He's the type of player who needs a partner IMO, or someone from MF capable of getting very close at all times - as with the Cahill of old.
Of course, he's a forward, so we all know ultimately that good, bad or indifferent,
Moyes will destroy him in the end.
