His value has plummeted low enough after this season, I can only see West Ham offering £2-£5m, we'll be lucky to get anything over that.

I suspect at the very worst top end of that is where we are at the minute .

Its a tough 1, last Season he never missed, last Season he had chances, this Season hes hardly had a sniff and at times is struggling to even run with the ball at his feet.

Blame Moyes all you want, but hes some coach if he can actually undo the last 26 Years of a footballers life and make them forget how to put each foot infront of the other.

If clubs are offering around the 2M mark he will stay I have no doubt.

If we get an offer of around 5/6M AND moyes knows of a younger replacement I'd imagine he'd let him go.

Either way jelavic staying or going and being replaced will be just an after thought, the big summer signing of a top striker will be the important business IMO.

I didn't want to get carried away and assume he'd pick up where he left off but whatever happens goal-wise this year, I'm now utterly convinced Jelavic is a complete, top drawer CF.

His movement has been great the past few games and he has so many strings to his bow. On top of that he slots with consummate ease and it seems like he loves it here too.

What a ridiculously good signing.

If he had pace he'd be a £40m player.

That's the only thing he really doesn't have.

He's the best striker I've seen at Everton. Bear in mind I missed the 80's as I was still dribbling and pooing myself.

He's done very well since he came in. Better than I ever expected. This season (the whole of it) will show everyone what we have on our hands. He needs a full season to demonstrate he can be a top player at this level. I thought he had a ropey Euros, and his start to the season hasn't been explosive; but maybe he's blowing the cobwebs off now and we'll see him take up where he left off last season.

On the evidence so far he is top drawer. Plenty of players in the past have waned after an inspired spell though. Franny Jeffers looked top drawer once...and indeed he was until he fell away.

I'd say you called that spot on. Big, big season for him if indeed he stays.

He will score 20 if he stays injury free.

I want us to keep him. Still think he's got that something great goal poachers have, that you can not instill in players without it.

Of course the rest of his game is a bit poo, always was, and so without goals he's useless. Just hoping Martinez could get something out of him, but from what's been said by some saucy folk it seems that he's prepared to let him go.
