Nikica Jelavic

People need to get off his back. He hasnt had anywhere near the service he thrives on, the kind of service he got last year!. He was deadly and when he got a sniff inside the penalty area, he usually scored but he's had **** all like that this season and due to that he hasnt got the goals, he's lost his confidence and it shows in his play and persona these days!.

Tbf, when he as had the chances he was finishing them the early part of the season but we havent played to his strengths at all this season and i dont think playing Felli behind him and hitting him long as helped. We was better when we tried to play down the wings and put balls into the box, not going from back to front and hitting Fellaini at every opportunity!.

If we end up selling Felli, we need to get some technical players in of the calibre of Coutinho over the park who can, and keeps on doing, picking a pass in behind for the striker, and it seems at ease, we lack a player like that and thats the kind of player Jela would love to play with!.

Berba leaves for germania, Fulham offer us £8-10 mil for jelavic, they play ruiz behind jela which works for them and we sign Negredo or Remy or someone like that, everyone's a winner.

If anyone as got last seasons season in review, just watch the back end of that and watch some of the goals that Jela scored and then think of some of the performances he's given this time round and the difference in player is night and day!.

He looks a shadow of that ultra confident striker we signed last year and i honestly believe its due to playinf Felli where we are and him being the focal point of our attacks!.

He's a shadow of the player he was last season. If someone offered 4m I'd sell him, unless he becomes a goal machine from now to the end of the season. I sadly can't see it though.

I think we need to keep Jelavic but just add to the numbers and quality upfront and either Remy or Negredo are good shouts!.

The goal Michu scored over the weekend was the kind of chance Jelavic was slotting for fun last season, but he's never really got into the position of running onto balls being pulled back across the box this season.

If we were to sell him, which I think we would be stupid to do, we'd need to buy 2 good strikers. That would take up a large chunk of the Fellaini money as very few good strikers come on the cheap.

Don't think it's news to those who know... What may or may not be going on.

All this says is "this is not news to those to whom it is not news - if any such person exists". Whatever.

For me, I don't think he's all that. I think he did well last season, but it was a small sample of games and I think unrepresentative. I think this season he might be slightly underperforming, but I don't think he's that good a footballer. Apart from the one-touch finish, what does he have to his game?

Having said that, nothing short of £7m is enough.

We would be lucky to get what we paid for him based on this season.

That story looks like ****e to me. He's been ****ing dire this season but I still love the little Croat, and he will return to form one day; probably when our new manager arrives.

He's the focal point of our best player song ffs, and you can see he desperately tries for the ball, which is more than can be said for 75% of our team

edit: I also struggle to believe the story after seeing the sheer elation in celebrating his goal vs city

No, i was merely hinting that there may be something in it - apologies. I have heard and read some certain things about his people.
