I love the way people on here turn on players so easily and just scapegoat certain ones.

Barkley plays crap but because people have been calling for him to play everyone's looking at his positives which there was sod all off. I mean he couldn't even header the ball back to jags.

But because jelly has had a bad season people are starting to loss patience with him and making him a scapegoat out of him so even when he puts a shift in he still gets the blame, kinda like Neville in that respect.

I think it just gose to show you during the game who watches the ball and who watches the match.

But I think it's just another case of Fatal seconds season syndrome next season he'll be fighting fit am sure.

Is almost an entire season not long enough to lose patience with someone over?

He looks rather useless to me. Bad at passing, bad at holding up and bad at finishing. Think his game is up as an Everton player now. Anichebe is now our number 1 striker. Shows what our priority is this summer.

Its more a case of Jelavic being not that great for pretty much the entire season and Barkley being 19 and having one start all season.

His freekick against Stoke was quite powerful, shows he can at least hit a ball hard when he's not under pressure and has a run up. Come on Niko.

Decent shot wit his left, easy for the keeper but should of been played through by Anichebe when Vic put his shot wide.
Thought the team as a whole missed so many opportunities by choosing the wrong pass or playing left instead of right etc. One point we had 4 on one and completely ballsed it so I am not singling Vic out before anyone gets faux outraged.

True but not to say he would have scored - still had some work to do I think.

Equally, he should have played that square ball for Gibson, who was in an even better position to score, rather than shoot straight at the keeper. Really really frustrating. I like the guy but I wish he wasn't playing so poorly.

whats everybodys thoughts about him wanting to consider his future here in the summer ?? personally i think its a touch of frustration with his own form this season but saying that i dont think he has had anywhere near the sort of service he should have had. we need a creative midfielder if we are going to get the best out of him again .
