Actually, the fact he's still straying offside often means he's still working to get into areas. I'd agree with you that it's a symptom of identifying a "poor" performance - and don't get me wrong Jelavic has had a few of them this year - but I'm talking about yesterday specifically. He wasn't offside constantly, his movement was good, he looked lively and he was involved in play.
Which is very encouraging, because as long as the movement is better, then the finishes will come. Let's face it, the difference between an Osman goal and a Jelavic goal last night is about six inches. Jelavic, in a poor performance, wouldn't have made that run.
Which is why the following is mind-numbingly stupid...
The RUN was intended, so everything that results from that run is attributable to the movement being made. To put it VERY simply, if he doesn't make that run, the goal isn't scored, meaning the movement is valid.
NOBODY can be this stupid - I refuse to believe anybody can be this mind-numbingly dumb. This is by far and away the most stupid thing I've seen on GOT since pgheverton.
You're the only one completely neglecting the fact he made a run to get in that position. Stupid.
Erm.....
Retract this immediately or face my neg.
