I think we lose today.
I think we lose today.
Sigh...

"The Everton manager admits he does not have a clear explanation for Jelavic's loss of form. "I don't really have any great thought on it. I just hope he can find his way again," said Moyes.
A reporter should put it to him that there's a load of people on Everton message boards who reckon he's working him like a donkey running channels.
"I don't really have any great thought on it." - That sounds incredibly defeatist to me. Can't he see that he's spent more time out of the box than in it this season?
Sorry. It's my thing.
It'd be nice if the media put it to him that this was 'the reason' (not my belief, btw). Instead, he gets treated with kid gloves because he looks like he cant stand to be challenged.
Stand in the box. End of. Let everyone else put the leg work in
its Moyes tactics that make this happen to every striker that plays for us . he wants them working hard and running the channels and chasing lost balls and they becomae knackered and cannot focus on what should be a strikers main job being in and around the box to put it in the net and make their cbs uncomfortable . Moyes also wants our wingers main priority is to help out the fullbacks so they too as everyone else in the squad are nostly thought to defend first , thus if we ever have a counter attack or when building play Jelavic or whoever out striker is has to run the channels as our wingers are still too far behind , this is also due to Moyes also strangely enough preffering players who lack pace . thats the reason Mirallas was looking so dangerous as he has the pace we have for so long been lacking and had an attacking first attitude which i hope Moyes wont try to dictate out of him .
As if moyes prefers players without pace.
it seems that way though as we must be the slowest team in the league , he has preferred to play players like Osman on the wing
If it's a choice between pace or skill, he'll go with skill. Players with pace and skill are expensive.
