30 yards away from goal mate. You can't hoof it up the pitch to an isolated forward and call that a 'chance'.
He's had a free header ten yards out from a corner or a cross in every one of the last seven games.

How do you know this?
Has Vellios got a touch like an elephant as well?
I don't know has he, most times he get's the ball he normally heads it or swings wildly with a boot. Listen if he comes good i'l stand corrected but vellios is not good enough.
and who is going to win all these glorious headed opportunities out of them options mate, really have a word with yourself.
I'm saying that's how we're playing, we get the ball out wide, so our chances come from either headers or midfielders rushing in and getting onto lay offs.
Changing our style so it suits Jelavic requires the other ten players to play differently, changing the striker to suit our style seems easier.
Ok lets stick with an out of form striker rather than an unproven youngster who is hungry as hell right now.
Good logic mate.
Too right! It is good logic when said striker will more than likely score more goals out of form than his replacement. Unproven youngster that hasn't earned any kind of reputation to deserve said shot. Please, i'd rather bring back brett f*ckin angell than vellios

I give up, a striker who has still scored 5 in 13 woefully out of form, our best finisher in donkeys years should be dropped cos he's not slotting every game. I wonder sometimes what goes on in fans heads not like we have van Persie on the bench is it.
