If we let Nkounkou go on loan then surely this should have been communicated to Thierry Small before be went in search of a backup role?
To me Nkounkou going on loan is more reason for Small to want off. Shows even as close as Nkounkou is he can’t even get a shot to develop in the EPL. What chance does Small have now?

You're missing the bigger picture here Zat. The issue is we have yet another manager not prepared to trust in youth. He'd rather play an experienced player out of position than a young player.

I'm glad we never bought Patterson now because he'd only rot in our U23s.

We need a left footed full back as back up not Godfrey, Coleman or Kenny. Certainly if we want to put crosses in the box
And Delph gets injured even if he isn't playing.
#BringOviedohome anyone lol ?

There must surely be someone coming in. Godfrey is a right footed CB who is part of the preferred CB partnership of most. Delph is left footed but injury prone and a CM. Townsend left footed but we need him in attack to give us some variation. The 2 players who have played LB in u23s are Anderson a CB and John a right footed converted winger. LB might actually be a bigger problem than RB now. Hopefully Digne stays fit.
