Kev there were plenty of times in the game still were Mahomes was just keeping hold of the ball for far too long. Commentators were constantly pointing it out.

It was simply a bad night for him. Showed basically no composure all game..
you cannot name a Super bowl where a QB had to play wth a line like that

Brady in his 3 losses in the Super Bowl certainly didnt.

Highest pressure rate on a QB by a DL in a SB from 2006-2025 per PFF:

Mahomes 2020-55.4%
Matt Ryan 2016-53.6%
Cam Newton 2015-50%
Tom Brady 2011-46.5%
Eli Manning 2007-44.7%
Tom Brady 2007-43.4%
Jared Goff 2018-42.9%
Joe Burrow 2021-42.9%
Patrick Mahomes 2019-41.2%

The only QB’s on this list who won their games are Patrick Mahomes and Eli Manning, and Eli Manning is an outlier as you can see the Patriots and Giants are both on this list for the same game, so somebody had to win.

Mahomes pressure rate dropped to 38% because the Eagles called off the dogs. The first half Mahomes was pressured on 47% of his drop backs which would have had him at 4th on this list.

No QB is winning when they are pressured this badly

It's a long time between now and then, and between injuries and free agency (for the Eagles and other teams) it's just too early to say much. Plus they are losing their OC (maybe others) to other NFL teams. Also, also, with teams like the Lions getting healthy and the Commanders improving (I'm a bit of a Daniels Stan) it's always, always hard to repeat. Plus, despite everything Kev says, it's hard to disagree with him that the Chiefs (and their pesky QB) are actually very good and should still be in the conversation.
Dan Quinn is a great coach. Daniel’s lit it up his rookie year. I still see the Eagles edge out the Commanders and even though the Lions have a great one two punch at running back their defense gives me pause. I do agree they are the top three teams in the NFC. The west has regressed. 49ers and Rams in rebuilding mode. Vikings could be a wild card in the story.

As for Kendrick Lamar, everything sounded too quiet. Rap is probably something that is best performed in a smaller venue where the acoustics actually hit you in the face. You can get away with hip hop and R&B, but it sounded so flat in the Superdome. I don't think it was his fault and I don't even listen to rap. Felt kind of bad for him.

It sounded good on Fox in the US, not sure how much of that was produced and how much was live from the Dome.

What makes it more impressive is that the Eagles didn’t run a single blitz. 6 sacks is enough to demoralise anyone.

He didn't sound bad spitting facts but it definitely did not hit like it should have and it probably had something to do with the Dome being too open. It just sounded too airy and flat

Here is the "official feed/video" if you can view it (no idea what region you're in). I think it's fabulous and one of the few best halftime shows I've watched.

I can get some didn't like it, that's fine. But I think it was excellently performed. I'm not even familiar with Kendrick Lamar.

I read somewhere last year that Super Bowl shows are almost never live. A live performance of the audio is recorded in advance and the artists lip sync 95% of the time.

Yes usually, which is why so many bands are lame. He appeared to be rapping to a track, which is normal. Some of it was pre-produced, but I don't think he was lip-syncing. Neither was Samuel L Jackson. And the choreography and cinematography was 10/10.
