far from it, even less if you take into account the cheating that Brady was part of throughout his career.
We'll see. But GOAT conversations aren't decided by stats or experts, they're decided by stories. A three-peat would be fantastic for Mahomes, but Brady has so many legendary moments in the bag, the type of thing that is hard to beat in the public conscience. The fact that he's won 7 rings in itself is ridiculous, but the Falcons superbowl, the undefeated season, the 6th rounder coming from nowhere narrative, the Vinatieri kick, the win at age 43 with the Buccs, there are so many things that live in the collective memory that I just don't think Mahomes has come close to replicating yet.
I'm not saying these are important in Mahomes' overall evaluation as a player, (he's a better quarterback than Brady as far as I can see), and there have been other better quarterbacks than Brady. But the "GOAT" is far more elusive thing, and relies a lot more on a general unquantifiable feeling which usually comes about with the iconic moments littered throughout someone's career. On top of all that, Mahomes will never be able to rectify the fact that their was a short overlap in their careers and Brady beat him both times they met in the playoffs, one of those in the Superbowl. It doesn't mean Brady is a better player, but it will be brought up in every GOAT conversation once Mahomes' career is in the rear view mirror
I'm taking you off ignore Kev, you're alright when talking about NFL
