NFL 2024 Season

I see the Eagles repeating next year.

It's a long time between now and then, and between injuries and free agency (for the Eagles and other teams) it's just too early to say much. Plus they are losing their OC (maybe others) to other NFL teams. Also, also, with teams like the Lions getting healthy and the Commanders improving (I'm a bit of a Daniels Stan) it's always, always hard to repeat. Plus, despite everything Kev says, it's hard to disagree with him that the Chiefs (and their pesky QB) are actually very good and should still be in the conversation.

I'd be amazed if we replicated this season in the next. Everything just seemed to click for us from about week 5/6 this year and we never looked back. Two Super Bowls in 3 years already represents a great little run for us.

As long as we have another positive & productive off season then I'd expect us to be there or there abouts again, but as you say I can see certain teams, like the Commanders, improving more.

I have no fear of the Eagles tbh

One more game and I think that cements the greatest dynasty ever

yes Jalen Hurts vs Patrick Mahomes, Reid vs Sirianni - that looks like an even matchup

Mahomes 11-0 in a dome.

For some reason I absolutely am really desperate that the chiefs complete the threepeat now, simply because I think its a record that will never be broken and raise us into the greatest dynasty ever.
Meh.

tell me about Barkley

Mahomes with time does not throw those 2 picks.
Did exactly as much as he needed to last night. It was clear that he was the focal point for the Chiefs D and yet we still parked 40 past them.. namely because the QB you've been slagging off all season showed exactly why he's a winner 🤷‍♂️

It's really okay to just admit that you were well beaten by a complete football team. You don't need to keep making excuses.

Quarterback with time?

He shouldn't need 10 seconds uninterrupted to pick out a pass
10 seconds? 2 would have been fine.

The Eagles defense was ferocious, but a bit more time for Mahomes would have evened things up a bit.

I dont think Hurts wins a shootout with Mahomes.

Really the guy who had 2 sacks for the Eagles shoud have been MVP, not him.

Kev there were plenty of times in the game still were Mahomes was just keeping hold of the ball for far too long. Commentators were constantly pointing it out.

It was simply a bad night for him. Showed basically no composure all game..

See, the wonderful thing about the NFL is that it's a very interesting mix of capitalism and socialism. It's both very egalitarian and meritocratic. From the draft to the salary cap to non-guaranteed contracts, every team has complete control over how they shape their roster and outcomes from year to year. Ok, injuries happen and sometimes the ball doesn't bounce your way, but this is why nobody wants to hear complaining about results. Don't be a bitch, just move on and better luck next year.
