The Eagles didn’t blitz once in that game, they played it absolutely perfectly

As the kids say, certain people in here “don’t know ball”
So, the Eagles didn’t blitz however as I showed earlier, up until half time which is when the game was effectively won, Mahomes had the 4th highest pressure rate in Super Bowl history.

None of the qb’s in the top 10 pressure rate won except for Eli who is an outlier as his opponent was also in the top 10.

I meant The Saints!

For the Bears? Cade McNown was pretty bad. Kordell Stewart was bad but at least fun to watch. Cutler was a perfectly serviceable NFL QB.

I don't even know who fits in the worst Saints QB list. You've got the lovable losers--very competent QBs who don't rise above the competent level. Bobby Hebert, Aaron Brooks, Taysom Hill (not really a QB) all fit here for me.

Then there's the Billy Joes (Tolbert and Tolliver). You can throw Bobby in there as well, but what an era this was. (also, Billy Kilmer, Bobby Scott, Bobby Douglass, I never watched them play).

You've got the one-last-paycheck squad. Kenny Stabler, Jim (not Chris) Everett, Mark Brunell all come to mind.

You've got the Uncle Ricos... Steve Walsh, John Fourcade, Danny Wuerffel, Heath Schuler (also fits above list).

Guys you aren't sure what to think but maybe you like or don't like them but really they aren't good NFL QBs: Jeff Blake, Jameis Winston, Teddy B, Jake Delhomme, Derek Carr, Kerry (Tom) Collins.

So maybe we've had 4 competent QBs in the entire franchise history? And that's a stretch in part because I have no idea if Archie Manning was actually good or just father to 2 very good NFL QB sons. So it's Drew, Bobby, Aaron, Archie... ?

Everton that.

you cannot name a Super bowl where a QB had to play wth a line like that

Brady in his 3 losses in the Super Bowl certainly didnt.
Line was bad. Mahomes was worse. His responses to pressure were absolutely terrible. Multiple times just turtling and taking sacks. The pick six wasn’t even a play he was pressured on.

Frankly the Chiefs got away from what they were good at. They tried to open up and actually go at them instead of the slow, methodical, grind it out stuff that kept them in all those games at the end. They didn’t have the horses.

You can’t take the Brees era lightly though. That era alone is better QB play than the Browns, Bears and Jets have had in 50 years.

While I think Mahomes is the most talented Quarterback I've ever seen, it's undeniably a big stumble for him in the GOAT debate. He already had a mountain to climb even if he won; I personally don't think any QB will even sniff 7 Superbowls again and he has two high profile losses against TB-led teams in the playoffs. He's not going to be playing until he's 45 and he's not going to have Reid forever. Will be really interesting to see how they retool this offseason and come back as a contender.

He’s not the GOAT now, no question about it.

I believe they win the AFC next year so long as they improve the line play.

Luckily for the Bills the AFC is garbage so we’ll make the playoffs in some capacity. It’s a good job too because if we didn’t have our division as whipping boys to give us 6 wins we’d struggle next year with the schedule. 4 of the games are:

Ravens
Bengals
Chiefs
Eagles

Thankfully all at home.

Why do you say the AFC is garbage?

The AFC East is, I agree, but I posted the stats earlier :

Allen, Mahomes and Lamar have dominated the NFC winning like 90-95 % of the time
