Every drive was must score in the second half and the only one they didn’t score was Andrews fumble, and then Andrews drop stopped OT. You can blame him for the fumble and interception and he deserves it, what you can’t say is that he didn’t rise to the moment afterward. It’s a team game.

I really don't know what they do unless they start penalizing the QB for a late slide

Its not even just a Mahomes point. Its lots of QBs.
They are sliding extremely late to try and get penalties or going down easy out of bounds to buy a penalty. Both should be a penalty and a fake slide should be a penalty too.
If you slide after a defender is already getting down low and has committed to the tackle then there will inevitably be contact. And its absurd to call a penalty in those situations.
