The Bengals look to have been screwed quite badly here, as they were going to beat the Bills easily until the abandonment

They haven't been screwed at all. In fact I think they've made out the best.Appears that the AFC title game will be played a neutral site if the Chiefs and a Bills both win.

the thing is we will be the 1 seed based on win percentage with a bye in the first round - why are we then forced to go neutral site in the title game vs Buffalo?I thought just expanding the field to 16 this year would have been good, they going to do that soon anyway. However neutral site AFC championship seems fair enough, I'd just do it regardless of what happens in week 18.

Looking really positive now for Hamlin, great news

There isn't an ideal solution here where it's fair on everyone in the AFC.
Indeed, no team is missing out on their playoff place and Hamlin looks like he'll make a full recovery. It's great news for every fan, the minutiae of seeding will only matter to a few

Teams might now have to go away instead of home or play someone slightly better, but it's the play offs and anything can happen. It's one of those things that can't be helped and the teams will get on with it
