Indeed, no team is missing out on their playoff place and Hamlin looks like he'll make a full recovery. It's great news for every fan, the minutiae of seeding will only matter to a few
you mean, to the teams actually involved in the afc playoffs? this nonsense could well be voted down today. certainly the Chiefs and Bengals will be.

The Bengals look to have been screwed quite badly here, as they were going to beat the Bills easily until the abandonment
The game was stopped with 5 minutes left in the first quarter, with the Bengals leading 7-3. Your "assessment" of the likely outcome of that game, had it been played to completion, is based exclusively on your deluded belief in a particular narrative and completely ignores the fairly obvious fact that the score was close and there was another FIFTY minutes of a sixty-minute game left to play.

And as an aside, I find it distasteful that you've shown so little regard for Damar Hamlin's health throughout this episode.

You give Chiefs fans a bad name. You're generally painful to interact with and I'm sorry but after some serious thought I have decided that you constantly spoil my enjoyment of this thread. I'm putting you on ignore.

The Bengals have been playing far better than the Bills for weeks, what I saw prior to the abandonment just confirmed that trajectory

I have on multiple occassions given thoughts and prayers to the guy on this thread whilst also posting updates as to his health - so stop attemping to point score here.

the idea that this situtation has two completely seperate issues to it - Hamlins health, and the rule book going out of the window, should be obvious to all.

Most Bengals fans are livid with this.

Superb now you can stop nitpicking me for your own purposes.

Tbf, Kev practically salivated over the deaths of Ukrainians, his angle on a single NFL players near brush with death is no surprise to me
I was utterly convinced he was on a massive wind-up in the Ukraine thread. However he's been a tool in here too, so that starts to suggest he's simply obnoxious and I'm not prepared to waste any more time on him.

Weird thing is the Chiefs are a great organisation. I'd happily see some of their players come to Cincinnati - Creed Humphrey, Joe Thuney, Isiah Pacheco, Willie Gay and Chris Jones, for instance - but his utter obsession with Mahomes (to the point of pretending the rest of the roster is nothing special) is bizarre.

And then he doubles down on the bizarre by claiming the Chiefs are the favourites to win everything, even though he says the roster is mostly average and Mahomes carries them. Ask him to back up the suggestion that the Chiefs are favourites and all he can offer is that lots of people bet big money on them. Absolutely zero informed tactical analysis.

It's a shame the Bills @ Bengals game got stopped, but it was ABSOLUTELY the right decision. Damar Hamlin almost dying is more important than any sport, by orders of magnitude. It's incredibly cathartic to hear these recent snippets of optimistic news about his condition.

Is that so?

Yes?

They get to win the division without winning the hardest game even if they lose to their closest competitor twice.

Also they're the 3 seed regardless of what happens Sunday. Even if they lose the hypothetical coin toss and have to go on the road they're still the 3 and could host the next week. If they had actually lost to Buffalo they'd potentially drop to the 5 seed. And they could get a neutral site AFC title game too. They've made out.

I dont need to 'claim' anything

one look at the Vegas odds tells you they are the favourites. Looking at who they make favourites is a standard definition of a favourite, nothing exceptional about it.

Go to the Bengals forums and see if your opinion is shared by them.

And yes, we do know you are a Ravens fan.

while you salivated over the deaths of Russians. You only see one side of the story in the conflict, the one which strangely happens to appeal to the UK's own sense of imperial loss.
