News of Ex Players

Good to see Schumacker starting well for Bolton. He was looking like he was starting his managerial career well at Plymouth but his move to Stoke didn`t turn out well and could have made it tough to get back in with a good job.
Yeah it seems like a good job for him despite being back in league 1. You’d think if they get promoted they’d have a decent chance of surviving and consolidating in the championship

He suits Italian football though, he is 27 and its taken him 5 different clubs across 3 different countries to actually settle and find his game, and judging by the run in he had with Gasparini the other week he still has a bit of an attitude about him.
I think that's less about Lookman having an attitude and more about Gasparini as a manager. Lots of his ex players have said he's a bit of a see you next tuesday.

I don't think there is a club he has played for where Lookman hasn't fallen out with the manager at some point. I'm not doubting about Gasparini, most of the Italian managers are highly strung but most of them get results, look at De Zerbi total nob who fell out with most of the players by the end but he took Potters team on another level completely.

Aye, that's fair. I agree with you in that Lookman suits Serie A and this Atalanta setup. Just think because of how well he's done he will have a bigger club interested. His FBref stats are insane.
