Only saw the highlights. Baines is becoming our Arteta pre-knee injuries. The amount of times he produces for us at a defensive position is insane. If starting Ashley for England is the law of the land then play him at wing. Baines out of position is miles better than any other winger the England team has.

Well in Vic, sub/no sub you're doing it this year. Jelly seems to be playing the role that he does on Croatia now. Setting people up from outside the box. Not sure if its the best position for him but as long as Fellani/Vic and the rest are scoring goals I guess its kind of working.

That's 9 in 12, with our best player out for all but 1 and some other injuries to key players. One thing you could never fault Moylez for is how the team performs with a side depleted with injuries and/or suspensions. Thanks for the nice Christmas present Everton (probably played your best game against Chelsea too). We may not get 4th but we'll be around there in the final weeks.

Thought Naismith was brilliant last night, MOM for me. Hopefully he's nailed his place down, id even be tempted to move him to a more central role he is THAT good on the ball.

Naismith was poor, Heitinga was turd, less said about Nev at CM the better. Howard never seems to leave his line and that almost cost us, but despite that Baines, Distin, Jelavic, Pienaar, Fellaini and Anichebe all put in very good shifts. Jelavic's assist was a joy to watch.
