Defensively we were terrible once again; going forward we were much better;
Naismith improved before being taken off,
Fellaini was his usual crock of shíte self
Victor was excellent, as was Jelavic, Pienaar, Osman and Baines

Neville was poor.

Oh right, I must have imagined his take on the chest, spin and layoff to Jelavic for the winner then.

People always laugh at this (non Evertonians I mean) but he literally might be the world's best left back. Who's the competition? He's way ahead of Ashley Cole now... Alba's pretty damn good I suppose... I'd sooner have Baines than Marcelo/Coentrao. Lahm usually plays RB I think?

Other possibilities?

for me he' s the best mate.

Kolarov was meant to be THE best when city signed him. Mourinho tried all sorts to get him to madrid at the time, the main reason was his set peices. He cost city around £17 million. So what does that make Baines worth?
Asamoah (juventus), Maxwell (PSG) and Balzaretti (roma) are the only others i can think of btw.

Just before the game I had a feeling about Cisse scoring, put 50p on scorecast Cisse 2-1 Everton - 110/1 easy £55!

I'm going to start doing the opposing striker as first goalscorer and everton to win.

Great bet that. Well done sir.

Yes I am.

Details please.

He got caught out and spun all game. Had to drag down Ameobi at one point because he couldn't live with him, late on he got blatantly lucky when he was spun once again and the ref gave him a free kick (he just flung himself over). Got battered for pace and in the air - lost pretty much every single header he went near all game.

It's actually easier to point out the stuff he actually did properly. One header in the second half and a block on a shot. That's it.

He was grim. And to blame Distin for that goal... not sure what goal you're talking about, because it can't be the one Newcastle scored against Everton tonight.

i'd ignore him mate. felli was not as good as he has been this season but he's still a handfull every game. best player i've seen in my 20 years of following the blues but this guy won't be swayed that he's not great
