6 weeks into this season... 4th in the table so far.....and we are talking about next season already ffs.... Enjoy what we have for now and worry about next season when it comes.
Graziano Pelle at feyenoord, has all the main attributes of Lukaku but not got as much pace, has an amazing scoring record in holland and ive seen him a few times, and hes a very good player, downsides though is hes 28 and would cost a fair chunk.
Jackson Martinez would be ideal, but probably unrealistic unless we get Champs League. I think a good option would be Rondon from Rubin Kazan. Was brilliant for Malaga and settled into Russia pretty well. Strong, quick and powerful in the air. Shouldn't cost loads (especially if we got Europe) - maybe 10 mil or just over

Good shout. My preferred striker would be Jelle Vossen at Genk.
Middlesbro' tried to buy him in the summer for £4m but were turned down, I reckon a bid of £6-8m would get him (not bad considering Kone was £6m)
His scoring record is terrific, averaging about 20 per season for the last 3 seasons which makes him a 1 in 2 man! That is in all competitions too, Champs League etc. so he can do it at the top level.
He is young-ish at 24, he is Belgian (has friends here already) and is a big tall lad so can score plenty of headers too.
If we somehow mess it up by not getting him and Lukaku doesn't come then maybe Philip Hosiner at Austria Vienna might be worth a look too. Not sure what his approx. value would be though.
Or even short term we could go for Defoe? That guy scores plenty!
Sedoiu dymbia (spelling?) from cska Moscow has being linked with us recently he would be ideal quick physical striker with a good scoring record only 25 as well
