New striker in the summer

I'd bloody hope I did!

He's good, I do think he could play Premier League football. Got a hamstring injury at the moment I think. Solid, back to goal, poaching striker, a little bit of pace over a short distance, typical centre forward stuff. Still only 21 I think, someone would have to take a punt on him. He's certainly good for NZ!

From the very little I've seen of him he's not half bad. Powerful and knows where the net is.

That Kone feller looks useful.

No mate, that was Snipes.

Young kid coming through in the Bundesliga, Kevin Volland of Hoffenheim. German U21 player. Worth us keeping track of him this season.

He will cost us real money him, more like we will sign Kevin Williams of Hackney. Goals five a side player.

I dont know. He's not an established player. Mind you, if this lad keeps scoring, the likes of Dortmund and Bayern Munich would no doubt step in before he went abroad. Looks a prospect though.

We spent £6m on Kone which at the time seemed a lot, but now looks small change as we paid £13m for McCarthy. £6m wasted really as as long as Lukaku is fit we won't see much of him. Jelavic will probably play in the FA Cup 3rd round if we draw a division 4 team or something. So Kone and Jelavic aren't the answer because imagine what it would be like going from a player like Lukaku to a player like Kone. Our standards have been raised and we will want to see a player with the same credentials. What are the chances of making a bid for Lukaku? £20m? We've got nothing to lose by trying and he seems to fit in well with Martinez's style. He's linked up very well with Mirallas and Barkley and further relationships can be created with Pienaar, Coleman and Baines. We would be stupid to just let him go without a fight. Chelsea could sell him as a way to make a profit.
He's the brightest prospect in Europe right now and it would hurt to see him pull on a Chelsea shirt again.
