And yet Martinez was supposedly 15th best paid in the world? Big difference on those numbers, but I guess a big difference now in what we could afford to pay someone.
Lack of Europe in year 1 maybe a bigger stumbling block.
 
We're a huge club (whatever anyone says), with more dignity and class than the whole the league put together. With Moshiri with have all that AND money. Why can't we aim for the best? How will we ever progress if we deem any manager "too good" for Everton. Nobody is too good for us.

From what I can see on Red Cafe, a lot of utd fans believe they've signed a pre-contract with Jose for next season. :dodgy:


As most of the posters on red cafe are utter wombles from abroad and couldn't find manchester on a map i wouldn't put much stock in that

The pre contract stuff that was in the media was rapidly shot down about a day or so later by a few of the better media outlets around, didn't obviously get anywhere near the print though ofc
