It's the ex City Manager for me with Sheedy as his no 2 - this guy has won trophies with restrictive practices at city, and has a great background with other clubs - his aim would be full control of his transfer budget unlike at Man city with Sheedy as no 2 to learn and show him the Everton tradition!

Can't we have a poll without Jose please. How old is everyone on here?
He's a top, successful,multiple trophy winning manager...
He would project us in the media far beyond our imaginations since the mid 1980s...
He hates the RS...
He's available...
We have a job opening...
And we can afford a manager of his standing...

Why shouldn't he be in the poll and why shouldn't we aim for the best ?

Mark Hughes?

I went for Jose Mourinho, I don't think we will get him but he would be great for us. I think it is more likely to be Pellegrini, him and Sheedy is a good call.

I've picked deBoer simply because I can see him staying with us for a lot longer than Jose ever would. For me it this appointment has to go to a manager who has won things consistently. I really hope we don't go for Koeman; not that I know anything about his tactics or style, but because I want to know for certain that the days of BK level expectations are gone. I also think the only way we have a shot of keeping our best players (yes, some of our players are actually decent) is to appoint a manager that shows commitment to winning trophies. Hoping to win things is fine for West Ham, Newcastle and Tottenham, but we're Everton, and we know our history.
