I knew I would get this response but I think he,s a good man manager and would get respect from the players and produce a winning team ,football might not be pretty
I liked your post because it has to be a wind up mate, everyone entitled to their opinion so fair enough but if you really believe Allardyce is an Everton manager you have either been drinking all day or are seriously deluded. We've been awful for years and I have never thought of Sam being the answer. Unbelievable

I've picked deBoer simply because I can see him staying with us for a lot longer than Jose ever would. For me it this appointment has to go to a manager who has won things consistently. I really hope we don't go for Koeman; not that I know anything about his tactics or style, but because I want to know for certain that the days of BK level expectations are gone. I also think the only way we have a shot of keeping our best players (yes, some of our players are actually decent) is to appoint a manager that shows commitment to winning trophies. Hoping to win things is fine for West Ham, Newcastle and Tottenham, but we're Everton, and we know our history.
Love that post mate, gonna roll a number on the back of that:bye:

Little bit of wind up but I do believe he's a good solid manager and would organise a disorganised team

Really De Boer worst than Koeman?

Based on what we know, I'd word it "not as good as Koeman" rather than worse. He may well turn out to be a far superior Premier League manager than Koeman, but it would just be ( educated ) guesswork to say so.

Koeman's made mistakes outside his home country and seems to have learnt from them. So far, De Boer is untested in management outside Holland. If he has mistakes to make in a bigger league, do we want him learning on the job here ?

Also can't believe there's still people who think Mourinho is completely out of the realms of possibility. Sure, it's not very likely, but weigh everything up and you can see it's possible. I find it sad that a lot of Evertonians won't dare to dream.

I refuse to accept the plucky little Everton lie that gets propagated and swallowed whole by some.

Jose Mourinho on the contrary is a realistic option for Everton manager.

We need a manager who's a winner, an attitude to rub the media and other clubs up the wrong way and put to bed all the "nice plucky punching above their weight" little Everton ! Jose is the man to cause the media hurricane :-)
