As most of the posters on red cafe are utter wombles from abroad and couldn't find manchester on a map i wouldn't put much stock in that

The pre contract stuff that was in the media was rapidly shot down about a day or so later by a few of the better media outlets around, didn't obviously get anywhere near the print though ofc[/QUOTE]

Lets hope you're right

Why are people saying Mourinho is unrealistic?... As unrealistic as Leicester winning the premiership?, or Rafael Benitez starting the season managing Real Madrid and ending it getting relegated as the manager of Newcastle?... anythang c'yan 'appen wi' th'scratch we packin'

Agree on this, I think his stock might have fallen a bit due to what happened at Chelsea last season, sohe might not be in demand as much as the media think, dunno, anything can happen in football, anything.

As the old saying goes, 'It's José or the highway'.
Good player in his day and a great track record of bringing through the youth players at Liverpool, but I wouldn't want that Kopite anywhere near my club thank you very much. Can't actually believe you've even brought him into the equation if I'm honest mate.

Based on what we know, I'd word it "not as good as Koeman" rather than worse. He may well turn out to be a far superior Premier League manager than Koeman, but it would just be ( educated ) guesswork to say so.

Koeman's made mistakes outside his home country and seems to have learnt from them. So far, De Boer is untested in management outside Holland. If he has mistakes to make in a bigger league, do we want him learning on the job here ?

I think you have convinced me of the same now...

The multi-name poll has seen 1441 votes cost with the four mentioned names in this thread receiving...
Jose - 506 votes
FdB - 257 votes
MP - 193 votes
RK - 123 votes

So with this thread showing a clear preference for Jose Mourinho, I really hope Mr.Moshiri is aware or being made aware of how the (GOT) fan base would appear to want the appointment process to pan out.

Come on guvnor, give the people what they want :D:D:D
