You'll get better results if you don't skip brekkie mate. Have the fruit first thing in the morning instead of as a snack. It'll get your metabolism going and help you burn more fat through the day.

Going from say 6pm to 11am without eating is a long time. When you eventually give your body food, it'll store onto the fat for longer.

i have my fruit around half 9 in the morning, not later than that usually and half lunch at half 12. Buy it from a stall in work so although it might be a bit more pricy than pre buying, at least i know i can pick and choose what three to get each day rather than being stuck with a bag of apples which chances are will be emptied by my son when i'm not there haha

I just couldn't be doing with porridge today, just wasn't in the mood for it. I haven't had chance to pick up berries to throw in it yet, slipped my mind sunday. Admittedly i do try to have breakfast, but so far as i didn't get chance to exercise last night (despite actually wanting to) i am trying to minimalise my intake. No tea was because the other half wanted me to run the chippy for a quick tea and i didn't want to be eating it.

out of curiousity, something like chicken fried rice from the chippy, how unhealthy is that? I know it isn't good for me with fried being the key word, but is it that unhealthy that i should avoid it? I avoid chippy chips for the reason they would be full of horrible stuff right now.

Nowt wrong with a bowl of cornflakes or weetabix y'know. You seem to limit yourself quite a bit.

Bloody hell man, surely you know which are the healthy cereals? You don't need mothering that much, do you?

Only going on advice from here lol I find no matter what healthy thing i go for, it isn't normally good enough as there is much better alternatives, hence the porridge.

other than that i'd love other cerial but i don't think i could enjoy cornflakes unless they were crunchy nut, or weetabix if they weren't the minis with choc chips in them.

Although i was looking at special k and stuff like that last time i ventured down that aisle so perhaps i could pick some up, or raisin wheats?

Well crunchy nut cornflakes are one of the most unhealthy things on the planet, just get some squeezy honey, it's great on weetabix.

yeah i could imagine they aren't healthy

is honey actually good for you? Thought it would be full of sugar, honey and weetabix sounds nice though

You can get a jar of Manuka Honey from Lidl for about 8 quid, very good for the body. I like to use it with Chilli's and roast chicken breast with it.
not too sure if i can justify 8 quid for honey. I'd love to and i guess i could swing about 4 quid for it if its in home and bargain anytime
