Quorn (or soya mince or chunks) is best if you fry it hard in a bit of olive oil before you add it - otherwise it tends to be a bit bland and mushy. And add a little finely chopped dates, apricot or prunes - otherwise it lacks the sweetness of the real thing (as I recall - been a veggie for 40 years+) and it caramelises a bit.Yeah, have no intention of swapping out most of my meats but for things like quorn in spag bol isn't really an issue for me. Happy to do it as you won't tell the difference once it is has sauce mixed in and potentially some broccoli.
I'll pick an apricot up then before we have it.Quorn (or soya mince or chunks) is best if you fry it hard in a bit of olive oil before you add it - otherwise it tends to be a bit bland and mushy. Buon appetito!
Dried apricots are fine for this. Also good boiled up to put on your porridge!I'll pick an apricot up then before we have it.
Cheers mate! had no idea.
Glad it's not just me saying this. Seriously, it makes my sh*t itch!* People over seventy wear pants Ash.
They are either " keks " jeans or trousers, not pants you loon.
Might be a good idea that yeah. Just be able to tell myself 9pm on this day i'm doing something. I know i might be starting to go running/getting out with someone who lives near me, although when i don't know. and i have insanity normally on a friday so realistically only need 2 more guaranteed workouts for the week to fit in, perhaps tuesday and thursdays then? I'll try and give that a go, 3 workouts a week plus healthy eating should be the 4 pounds a week i need to dropSeems to me you need to get more into a routine Ash mate.
Bits here and bit there might be why you can't stick to it that well.
It can be hard with a busy life but I always exercise straight after work, everyday except Wednesday and Sunday. Mix up the exercises a lot so it doesn't get stale and seems to work well for me.
If I was you I'd set a time. Every day. Call it exercise time. Don't let anything get in the way and just do it. Even if it's only a little bit.
Mind over matter needed here @Ashtonian. Don't you dare quit on us!i want to do it but my head doesn't want to
haha i'm not quitting, still determined to eat well and get into those 38 inch pants sooner rather than later before then aiming for the 36 ones i already own. I think i'm focused now more so knowing full well in two weeks i could be buying new pants, especially with another half stone dropped. Just need to push myself and if i follow @ijjysmith advice and just starting thinking in terms of i am doing this now, then perhaps i can kick back into it. I will have a crack tonight at it, just convince myself i need to do something and keep the trousers in mind (learning to change the p word haha)Mind over matter needed here @Ashtonian.
