New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

That's not paying Jack Grealish's salary, though.

I can't vouch for the quality above, but that looks far more attractive in terms of price than what we are currently offering. Some of the stuff at Everton Stadium looks preposterous. Loaded hot dogs my backside.
The brisket sandwich was incredible, the chicken tenders were like twice the size of the ones at HD for half the price aswell. You only needed to buy one coke for $4, then there were refill machines all over the concourses, incredible stadium tbf

Wasn’t the broken window theory proven to be nonsense? [/pedant]

Haha, nah - it'll be debated to death as it has been since 80s but I've no doubt its applicable certainly in the context I'd applied it in.

It was like that against Arsenal mate. I went on the day before the game and couldn’t believe how many tickets there was.

Suppose for Arsenal though they changed that very late didnt they, and even after TV coverage was confirmed which ive never recalled ever happening before so kind of understood that. Also the Saturday before Christmas at 8pm...

Was talking to loads around us, and due to the messing about with kick off dates and times, many are going to miss the next few home games, starting with wolves Wednesday.

That was even before that humiliation of a result, no doubt more cba.

Lots of tickets will be up for resale.
There’s loads. I hope the stadium doesn’t look empty.

how do other clubs furnish once a season stadium visitors?
Most teams use Seat Unique.

Yep. But it’s been pretty easy to get a ticket for every game this season. Even yesterday morning you could still get Brentford tickets.

Language policy is largely dictated- ad partners, and SEO ranking. Though Id keep it regardless, I think there's a broken window theory effect. If everyone was swearing, the tone of the place and standards would fall.

As for the middle finger reaction emoji. Think of it as a pressure cooker. Angst is inevitable on an Everton forum and sometimes someone needs piping down and an emoji is as nice a way to do it as possible. If someone can't cope with a middle finger reaction emoji, they're perhaps not well suited to a forum. Equally, if I note someone has a particularly high amount of middle fingers received, it indicates they're a bit iffy.
Noted for responses to Davek... 😁

Accepting ripping people off because “that’s the way it is” is straight out the conservative manifesto.

We shouldn’t accept it

Thing is, people's perception of value is a personal view. Some pay it cause they feel they get value out if the purchase, some wont pay it cause they dont. End of the day, its all a choice. Pay it or dont. While people are paying it, they will charge it.

The argument of charge less, more people will buy and you make more profit isnt true. If you sell at 30% profit, you are making more than selling at 10% profit, you just need to order the right amount in to minimise loss.

If you need 1 x staff for every 100 sales, then dropping the price to get more sales will give you a lower %return and a larger wage bill.

The argument of bulk buying likely doesnt make much difference either, as a couple of thousand additions to their global order book will be a drop in the ocean.

Aramark have a customer base of hundreds of thousands and the resulting data to make their decisions. That is what they will base their pricing on, and their volume will be tweaked to ensure minimal waste. They will only consider reducing costs when queues are.left empty and staff are underutilised and even then, they may well make staff redundant before reducing prices.

Is it right? Probably not. Is it business? Yes.

Give me a Rollover Hotdog stand in the corner for a fiver and I’ll stop moaning.

I’ve also been told the club have encouraged the council to reject any food truck permits along the Dock Road as they want everyone to do their dingers in at the “Fan Plaza”. £14 for some type of Korean “Street Food”.

Shambles
The club have as much say over that as they do over pubs popping up in the area. What they do have a say over though is what is on the fan plaza. Part of their plan was to offer positions to local companies on a rota basis. Ive not seen any evidence of that though, but the ones that are there may well be existing local business'. Not sure tbh.

I can’t be convinced that £4.50 for a bag of Malteasers will be received as decent value by anyone walking on planet Earth.

It’s robbery.

Not sure you’re right mate.

Not a single burger/food van in sight when 52k are around the ground? There’s a reason for it…
