Doesn't matter a hoot to what "the rest of the country knows".

And Everton aren't competing for space. You're making yourself look sillier than usual there. When the ground isn't being used by Everton, we are making money by hosting other events, sports and matches. Once we have to shift a fixture, or play in a different ground, to accommodate some other general sporting event then you'll have a valid point.

Of course, that will never happen. Not that it matters to our grim reaper.

As an occasional lurker on here I suspect this is intended as one of your wind ups, but as a Southampton fan living over 200 miles away from Liverpool I can assure you that everybody I speak to very much knows it as Everton's new ground.

Anyway, back on topic, a a fan I'm very proud of our new stadium and glad Ive managed to watch a couple of games there. Our club football season kicks off this weekend and so Saturday afternoon Ill be down our clubrooms drinking beers, catching up with mates I haven't seen all summer and boring the crap out of them telling them how great the stadium is.

The Scots were a washout too. Last friendly game on this island and they're at the World Cup and they muster about 29,000.

I don't agree with a lot he says but how the hell Hill Dickinson pay a fee that is less than Jp's annual wage and get to have their name plastered all over BMD beats me....if reports of this deal regarding the monies involved are true. The lack of Everton branding is just strange.

Nobody outside Merseyside knows who they are without googling it.

If Norwich can get a local brand like Lotus on board albeit a shirt sponsor i am beat how these got such a fabulous deal off us

Was an absolute nightmare getting out last night. First time I've experienced that tbh. Normally I get out of the gates at a fairly decent time. Have I just been getting lucky? Is it like that all the time for some of you?

No issues last night or previously .

I obviously don’t know what the issue was but my guess it’s people who are visitors to the stadium who don’t know what’s what . Last night big queues at some toilets , move 30 feet it’s empty . Same as us getting to know the bars that have less queues .
