Was an absolute nightmare getting out last night. First time I've experienced that tbh. Normally I get out of the gates at a fairly decent time. Have I just been getting lucky? Is it like that all the time for some of you?

Do you mean the trains ?

Seems to be much worse for those travelling back towards Southport.

We went back into town and apart from a five min wait for a train to arrive, it was all plain sailing, where as the Southport train was all backed up.

We needed a period of exclusive use and we needed to see the exterior of that stadium plastered with Everton related features to make the tribal transition from Goodison Park to the docks
We have a classy looking stadium, blending well within its historical location among the docks of the Mersey.
The stadium I believe will become iconic and instantly recognisable to fans worldwide as the home to Everton FC.
I personally don't think it needs to be "plastered" with Everton features.

No, i mean just getting out of the gates to get onto the road. Maybe I've got lucky but I've never once been held up for ages like that.

Did the Stadium tour the other weekend, it's great and well worth doing if anyone hasn't already - although a noticeable lack of any museum/historical related stuff. Sure it's been asked before in this thread but any ideas when/if this side of it is going to come in? Seems incredible how bad we are at marketing our own history, they spent as much time talking about Tony bellew and Molly McCann (who inexplicably have a mini mural in the south stand) as they did talking about any of the club's history. The only memorabilia of any kind is in on the first floor of the club shop, which is a 1986 fa cup final shirt (a game we lost to the rs) and a Rooney 02-03 shirt (our best ever talent that we sold)....
Could have mentioned the Headlocker. 😜
