I love ours but it looks like the Reebok Stadium from inside which is disappointing given what was promoted at the start.

🤨 Or have just fallen for not reading far enough back to understand the joke?

I think the only thing it's got in common with the Reebok is that theres a football pitch and seats 😂
I'm annoyed though that they made a big deal about a Blue Wall then completely changed the design and now it's two tiers instead. The disabled zones are huge—far too big—and there is no Everton branding inside. Apart from that it's a fantastic stadium tbf.

Having made the mistake of being inconsiderate with my wording over this previously, they certainly appear out of place or very conspicuous, but they are suitable sized for wheelchair users etc i guess. What doesn’t help is there a general walkway at the back of some (if not all) of them that makes them larger than they would be if strictly for the Equality Act regs.
But again that more design choice than being entirely down to sizing for disabled fans. Certainly painting the back walls blue would go some way to making them less conspicuous in the overall all look and feel of the stands.
The Blue Wall bit i think will take a few seasons for the loudest fan’s who actually want to stand etc, to end up there while those who don’t migrate to areas more suitable to their needs imo.
The fact there are numerous reports of fans being told to sit down by other fans in the safe standing areas is a bit bizarre and wont help achieve the original aim.

Fair enough, I get that. I think the Everton branding is something we would all like to see- even just an 'EFC' on the seats or something.

I wonder perhaps if the lack of branding is because they wanted to make sure to establish itself as a venue for all kinds of non Everton events first, with other stuff to come in time as everyone gets used to it being a multi-purpose venue.

As someone who's seat is in the safe standing bit, I can't say I've seen any instances of this happening- everyone around me has stood for every game so far.

That's not to say it hasn't happened elsewhere in the standing area, but it's a bizarre thing for someone to complain about after buying a spot in the 'safe standing' section.

Regarding the accessibility platforms: it's not a perfect example I know because it's not a platform but ground level, but at Brighton's ground you can see what can be done in terms of integration of those sections when you just make the simple choice of making the background blue like the rest of the terracing.

The Brighton example highlights a cosmetic improvement rather than true integration. Painting the accessible sections blue may make them blend visually, but the areas remain structurally separate due to sightlines, safety, and circulation requirements. While it’s a positive effort to reduce visual distinction, it doesn’t address the underlying issue that accessible platforms are still distinct spaces rather than fully integrated with the rest of the terracing.

Just registered for the EITC Junior Sleepout at HD.

Had to explain to my 8yo that it won't be on the grass but sleeping in the stands on the floor.

He then asked me if we could then choose the corporate bit with the heated recline seats... I had to explain that wasn't really the point of this. (We were lucky to experience these for the Wham game).

Nevertheless, he is super excited for it!

Nobody asked for my aimless waffle about the ground, but as I recently shared some thoughts with the Everton Byline lads (even though they cut quite a bit of what I said and changed the narrative), I thought I might as well share it here too (I've screenshot my email)

For context, they specifically asked for opinions about the experience inside the stadium. That’s why I didn’t mention anything about travel, transport, or getting to and from the ground — that largely speaks for itself.

In relation to the accessible seating, the original seating plans show the proposed locations highlighted in yellow.
