I love the new stadium , I love my seat and I’m made up with those sat around me but I did wonder if we were at goodison we might have had more of a chance of snatching a winner but perhaps that’s rose tinted glasses .
In contrast I was talking to someone Who was in hospitality Monday and they said from where they where sat the place was rocking .

For 10 minutes, I thought the atmosphere was absolutely terrific. I was at the back of the South Stand, though, close to the roof, so sound kind of feels quite localised.
If you're honestly saying that atmosphere has no effect on performance, I need to end this conversation for my own sanity.
The people that don't think it does, haven't played on the pitch.
Every lunging tackle, every quick break, anything that get's the crowd off there seat adds another boost in a players mind, it's like an extra injection of adrenaline..
It also plays the exact same way once booing hits the atmosphere, it reduces all the above..
