New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Liverpool doctor evicting locals for asylum immigrants…
‘The agent who wrote to Parliament Place landlords promoting the asylum seeker deal signed off the correspondence as 'Mike Murphy'. The BBC understands this to be Michael Murphy, at the time a partner at major Liverpool law firm and Everton stadium sponsor Hill Dickinson.’

'At the time' = 'not now'.

Looks like they dealt with him in April:

So, as well as hounding patients into submission to back down from their claims about NHS mismanagement and medical wrongdoing, the H*** D******** lot are involved in turfing tenants out of their accomodation so Rackman-type landlords can profit from it?

What a fitting name to have on our stadium. It makes me wonder what other nefarious stuff they're involved with.

And we have this lot associated with us for a decade? Surely there's a clause we can trigger as a club to end it without compensating them when they bring our name into disrepute by association?

@HappyJack now look what you've done, ffs.

Aye, that'll do it.

@davek 14 day thread ban for being a massive misery. Ain't nobody wanting to read you bang on about that nonsense all day.

Poor Dave he's been suspended more than Duncan Ferguson another Everton legend ! Anyway the stadium looked fantastic not just outside but inside as well, loved all the flags and the siren, Z Cars, lighting and player entry was perfect before the match itself. Awesome !

Makes more sense.

Let’s hope Bobby Chariot puts on some transport…
I think it’s less of an issue on magic because there are 3 separate distinct matches so supporters will make their way To and from at different times plus it’s in the summer so likely better walking weather . The ones who stay all day don’t need to worry about the transport as talking from experience be smashed I imagine !

The only matter of relevancy.

Murphy was doing their work they set him to do.
Potentially libellous that, given the public interest in such topics nowadays. There's nothing in that article which suggests he was doing anything under the banner of HD, indeed the statement they give relative to HD in the article is "Hill Dickinson said it could not comment on "the matters of any individual organisation or the private interests of existing or former partners".

We had the below user report come in;
  • This has nothing to do with the stadium, and by all accounts nothing to do with HD (other than the individual was also a partner there, but not acting on behalf of HD as insinuated).
... and I tend to agree.

This is an Everton forum, and the discussion is around the new stadium. Only people with a real agenda/axe to grind are going to try and find something in as tenuous as that - no matter how slow the news day on an Everton forum, my suggestion would be to lets not bore the thread with it.
