They did sign the British Gas feller, tbf.

After multiple seasons of nearly getting relegated, I’m not surprised their aim is top 10 at the moment. What do you think it’s going to be? CL places? Title challengers? They have had 3 windows and spent an average of £45 million a window.
They haven't yet managed to drag themselves to either Goodison or Bramley Moore.
They have hired an ego maniac who couldn't wait to pat himself on the back in September after a disaster of a summer window.
They're about to put season ticket prices up again.
They seem perfectly fine that we have an even worse home record than last year.
They briefed one of their media patsies that their aim was top 10.
If they're not here to win then they should sell up now.
To be fair I honestly don’t care if they come or not.Are they ever going to actually attend a game

The glass needs cleaning as well. They still haven't screeded the roof...
Would this make them turn up?
Your point about the cups is key. I don't enjoy Moyesball at all. It's reactive, conservative, agricultural, and outdated. But I won't slag him off for current league position (even if I think we will not finish top half). Where he has killed himself in my eyes is in the cups. He picked a shadow team in the League Cup, showing it (and fans' lingering hopes of glory) utter contempt. The capitulation in the FA Cup at home to Sunderland was a study in footballing incomptence. But if we accept we can never truly compete in the league (and we probably do), then we, as fans, can really only hope for two things: an attractive, entertaining side and cup glory. Right now, we have neither. Sure, people might say we couldn't expect to put together an attractive side at this point in the Friedkin era, but there was nothing structural stopping us getting past Wolves or Sunderland other than our own incompetence/lack of ambition.I admire the blind optimism of our fan base. This is the Premier League. Unless there is a radical change in the way it is financially structured, no team is going to make a long-term breakthrough into the Sky Club cartel. Villa are having their moment in the sun, Newcastle have spent hundreds of millions and are below us, West Ham even won a single trophy (more than we have done in decades) and are now more concerned with relegation than getting into the CL, ditto Crystal Palace.
It's an impossible dream. Not that we shouldn't dream, but I'm a realist. I'm getting on a bit now, the most I dream for is for us to be consistently entertaining to watch, to retain our PL status, and - be still my beating heart - perhaps win the League Cup or FA Cup or Europa Conference, or maybe even a couple of those trophies before I drop off me perch. Top 10? Fine, if we can be decent to watch and actually compete for one of the (admittedly lesser) trophies.
I couldn't care less if the owners turn up or not, but I would imagine my ambitions for us as a club generally align with theirs, except I'm not expecting to make money out of my connection with Everton.
